Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on active construction sites
- Load/unload materials and equipment safely using proper techniques
- Prepare sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Maintain clean work areas and adhere to all safety protocols
- Complete daily progress reports and time sheets accurately
- Participate in emergency response drills and safety briefings
Qualifications
- No experience required – we train all new hires
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license (required for equipment operation training)
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Reliable transportation to job sites within 50-mile radius
