Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (hammers, shovels, saws)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
- Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Load/unload construction materials and transport them to designated areas
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and operating machinery
- Participate in team projects to meet construction deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED preferred but not required)
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and following instructions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Basic communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- No prior construction experience necessary – training provided
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
