Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine layout and installation of electrical systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure systems are operating correctly and safely.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure all work adheres to local building codes and safety regulations.
- Mentor apprentices and assist in training junior electricians when required.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate technical information clearly to clients.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Journeyman Electrician License.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Deep knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and local building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites.
