Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with site preparation and material handling
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely using proper techniques
- Perform general cleanup and debris removal at job sites to maintain OSHA compliance
- Operate basic hand tools (shovels, hammers, levels) and power tools under supervision
- Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Participate in daily safety briefings and adhere to all workplace protocols
- Support team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we provide comprehensive onboarding training
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid California Driver's License preferred but not mandatory
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and willingness to wear required PPE
- Reliable transportation to job sites across the Bay Area
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new construction skills
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work collaboratively in a team setting
