Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (hammers, saws, shovels)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Maintain organized, debris-free job sites per OSHA standards
- Follow verbal instructions and safety protocols rigorously
- Support concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and training sessions
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn construction skills
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- No felony convictions (required for union sites)
