Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating basic hand tools
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, including debris removal and safety zone setup
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and supervisor instructions
- Assist with equipment operation under supervision (e.g., concrete mixers, power tools)
- Complete daily task logs and report equipment malfunctions
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we provide comprehensive onboarding
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Valid state ID or driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for measuring and material calculations
- Punctual with strong work ethic and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work collaboratively in teams
- Must have own basic work boots (steel-toe recommended)
