Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation, excavation, and material handling under supervision
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy equipment safely (training provided)
- Assist carpenters, masons, and skilled trades with project tasks
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Follow blueprints and construction plans for accurate execution
- Complete daily equipment inspections and safety checklists
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
- Participate in weekly team briefings and safety training
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Availability to work 4-10 hour night shifts (6PM-4AM)
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Pass background check and drug screening
