Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople in construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand tools and light machinery safely (training provided)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA guidelines
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Perform physical labor including lifting, carrying, and digging
- Follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox talks
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Basic understanding of English communication
- No prior construction experience necessary
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Reliable transportation to job sites
