Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including excavation, demolition, and material handling
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by removing debris and waste materials
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (e.g., shovels, wheelbarrows)
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Load/unload construction materials and transport them to designated areas
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required - we train all new hires!
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Must possess reliable transportation to job sites across Dallas
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety standards
- Basic communication skills in English
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
