Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation including cleanup, debris removal, and material handling
- Operate hand tools (shovels, hammers, saws) and basic power equipment under supervision
- Load/un construction materials and ensure organized storage
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Support skilled trades with tasks like digging trenches, erecting scaffolding, and mixing concrete
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout construction phases
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Greater Boston
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Positive attitude and strong commitment to teamwork
