Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with tasks
- Load/unload construction materials and tools
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris and setting up barriers
- Operate basic machinery (concrete mixers, jackhammers)
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and measurements under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized work environments
- Complete daily progress reports for foremen
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience necessary
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts
- Must pass pre-employment background check
- Ability to work flexible hours (early mornings/weekends)
