Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including excavation, demolition, and material handling
- Prepare and clean job sites by removing debris and maintaining organized work areas
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely using proper techniques
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (training provided)
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Assist in basic concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress updates
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods in outdoor conditions
- Basic physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Valid driver's license (for equipment operation training)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
