Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with daily construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (hammers, shovels, saws)
- Load and unload construction materials safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety standards
- Follow verbal instructions and safety protocols provided by site supervisors
- Participate in general site activities including digging, trenching, and debris removal
- Support team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we train on the job!
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods)
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability with punctual attendance
- Basic understanding of English for safety communications
- Team player attitude with willingness to learn new skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
