Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, excavation, and foundation work
- Safely transport and organize construction materials and equipment
- Operate basic tools (hammers, saws, drills) under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites according to OSHA standards
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
- Complete minor demolition and debris removal duties
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (provided free)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Colorado Springs
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
