Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand tools and basic equipment under supervision (e.g., shovels, wheelbarrows, power drills)
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Load/unload construction materials and transport them to designated areas
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and assembling components
- Read and interpret basic instructions from supervisors and blueprints
- Participate in team-based projects with a focus on efficiency and quality
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we train motivated individuals
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong work ethic and punctuality are essential
- Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (provided by employer)
