Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using hand trucks, forklifts, or pallet jacks.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding under supervision.
- Tool Operation: Operate and maintain basic hand tools, power tools, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by sweeping, cleaning up spills, and removing trash.
- Site Observation: Monitor site conditions and report any safety hazards or structural issues to the site supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We train all candidates from scratch. Prior construction experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended hours.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance is essential for team success.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Teamwork: Must be a collaborative team player who communicates well with supervisors and peers.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
