Responsibilities
- Assist with general site preparation, including clearing debris, digging trenches, and laying groundwork.
- Load and unload construction materials from delivery trucks and store them safely at the job site.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under the supervision of skilled tradesmen.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations strictly to ensure a safe work environment.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving heavy materials up to 50 lbs.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Communicate effectively with foremen, project managers, and team members.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks.
