Responsibilities
- Material Management: Load, unload, and distribute building materials, tools, and equipment to job sites efficiently.
- Site Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with daily tasks and operations.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety standards and company protocols.
- Basic Operations: Operate basic power tools and hand tools under the direct supervision of a foreman.
- Site Preparation: Assist with excavation, demolition, debris removal, and general site preparation.
- Quality Control: Help ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Must be able to perform physical labor for long shifts, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work full-time hours are essential.
- Willingness to Learn: No experience is necessary, but a strong desire to learn new skills is required.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; however, trade school graduates are also encouraged to apply.
