Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks including demolition, cutting, and measuring.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and correctly.
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and prepare work areas before and after shifts.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials (wood, concrete, drywall) as directed by the foreman.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Must be physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand/walk for the majority of the shift.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well within a team structure.
- Must be punctual and dedicated to maintaining a safe work zone.
