Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with various construction tasks.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks and organize job sites efficiently.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision.
- Ensure job sites are clean, safe, and organized in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform basic demolition, excavation, and site preparation duties as directed.
- Transport materials to and from the worksite using hand trucks or forklifts.
- Follow written and verbal instructions from site supervisors to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
