Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervision (hammers, saws, drills)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Maintain organized work areas and follow OSHA safety guidelines
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and carrying
- Support concrete, demolition, and general construction activities
- Complete daily progress reports and time tracking accurately
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required - training provided
- Valid government-issued photo ID and ability to pass background check
- Physical stamina to perform 8-hour shifts in outdoor/indoor environments
- Reliable transportation to job sites across New Orleans metro
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings/weekends
- Basic understanding of English for safety communications
