Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Site Preparation: Prepare work areas by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground as directed.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision (e.g., drills, saws, levels).
- Site Maintenance: Keep work sites clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Communication: Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors to ensure tasks are completed accurately.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Willingness to Learn: A strong desire to learn new skills and a positive attitude toward training.
- Reliability: Proven history of punctuality and dependability.
