Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized workspace.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks using forklifts or manual labor as required.
- Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools under the supervision of experienced foremen.
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Perform basic measurements and assist in setting up temporary structures.
- Dig, trenching, and level earth as directed by project supervisors.
- Transport waste and debris to designated disposal areas.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic reading and comprehension skills to follow safety instructions and blueprints.
- Valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Eagerness to learn new skills and work well within a team.
