Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently and safely.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic power tools and hand tools under supervision (drills, saws, levels, etc.).
- Support Trades: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks as directed.
- Cleaning & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Measuring & Marking: Accurately measure and mark areas for cutting and installation.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and available for full-time shifts.
- Teamwork: Must be a self-starter who works well in a team environment and follows instructions.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (but not mandatory for entry-level).
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Attitude: A strong willingness to learn and a commitment to safety.
