Responsibilities
- Perform general construction tasks including digging, hauling, and loading materials to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily activities as directed by the Site Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area by removing debris, waste, and hazardous materials.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment, such as shovels, brooms, wheelbarrows, and pressure washers.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended shifts, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and noisy environments.
- Basic math skills for measuring and counting materials accurately.
- Must be available for overtime, early mornings, and weekends as project demands require.
- Valid driver’s license is a plus but not required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
