Responsibilities
- Assist with general construction tasks including site preparation, cleanup, and debris removal.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Operate basic construction machinery and tools (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) under supervision.
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Help skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with various onsite tasks.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying heavy objects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly and standing for long periods.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic math skills and the ability to read simple instructions.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not strictly required for the right candidate.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
