Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites efficiently.
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic power tools and hand tools safely and correctly under the supervision of a foreman.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by cleaning debris and organizing tools.
- Measurement & Prep: Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed by the project supervisor.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime during peak seasons.
- Attitude: Strong willingness to learn, reliable, punctual, and possess a positive work ethic.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written safety instructions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
