Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site using hand trucks, forklifts, or manual labor.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools and equipment such as saws, drills, and compressors under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Assist Tradespeople: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by holding materials, mixing concrete, or performing basic tasks.
- Quality Control: Help ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Work Ethic: Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills quickly.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
