Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using hand trucks, forklifts, or pallet jacks.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and equipment safely under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Assistance: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and other trades as needed to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Quality Control: Help inspect work areas to ensure materials are used correctly and projects meet quality standards.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome entry-level applicants eager to learn and grow within the industry.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime when required.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are preferred.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude on-site.
