Responsibilities
- Perform various manual labor tasks on construction sites, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Assist in site preparation, including cleaning, loading, and unloading materials.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Follow instructions from foremen and project managers to ensure project timelines are met.
- Support carpenters, electricians, and other trades as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols (OSHA preferred).
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
