Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by digging trenches, clearing debris, and grading the land.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to work areas.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision to aid in the construction process.
- Cleaning & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring all safety protocols and regulations are followed at all times.
- Trade Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various manual tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for long durations.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends and evenings, as project demands require.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand tools and willingness to learn proper usage.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
