Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain job site cleanliness
- Read basic blueprints and verbal instructions accurately
- Perform trenching, shoring, and demolition tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Basic math skills for measurements and material estimates
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen required
- Experience with concrete, rebar, or framing preferred
