Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup duties
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized workspaces
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and trenching as project requirements
- Participate in scaffold setup and temporary structure installation
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions and flexible schedules
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards (OSHA training provided)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with minimal supervision
- Ability to read basic measurements and follow written instructions
