Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic tools (shovels, saws, drills) and equipment safely
- Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Maintain organized work areas and adhere to safety protocols
- Perform light demolition, excavation, and concrete finishing tasks
- Transport materials and equipment across job sites
- Complete daily progress reports and quality checks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 6 months construction or labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Flexible schedule including weekend availability
