Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and foundation work with precision
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts) with proper certifications
- Install formwork, rebar, and concrete structures per engineering specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure structural accuracy
- Maintain OSHA-compliant safety protocols and equipment inspections
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and masons for seamless project execution
- Document daily progress and material usage through digital reporting systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required
- Class B CDL with air brake endorsement preferred
- Proficiency with power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and hand tools
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in extreme weather
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for material estimation and measurement
