Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site prep, and tool management
- Perform physical tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, framing support, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, levels, etc.) under supervision
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from project managers
- Assist in specialized tasks like drywall installation, flooring prep, or roofing support
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic construction or labor experience preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Team player with clear communication skills
