Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and moving materials to and from the work area.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- General Labor: Perform general cleanup duties, including sweeping, shoveling, and maintaining a tidy job site in compliance with safety regulations.
- Trade Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) by fetching tools, holding materials, and performing basic setup tasks.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under supervision when necessary.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Experience: Prior construction labor experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Reliability: Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential for this part-time role.
- Transportation: Must have reliable personal transportation to commute to various job sites in the Atlanta metro area.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Tools: Willingness to provide your own basic safety gear (work boots, hard hat, safety glasses) if not provided by the company.
