Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
- Site Preparation: Clean and prepare construction sites, including removing debris and ensuring a safe work area.
- Assist Tradespeople: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and masons by handing tools and materials as needed.
- Basic Construction Tasks: Perform simple tasks such as digging, filling, or assisting in concrete pouring under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keep tools and equipment clean and in good working condition.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor, landscaping, or general handyman work is preferred but not required.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work well in a team environment.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
