Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding under supervision.
- Assistance: Provide general labor support to carpenters, electricians, and masons as needed.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe work area by sweeping, raking, and removing waste after each shift.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, and power washers (as trained).
- Documentation: Assist in inventory management by counting materials and logging usage.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for long hours.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not mandatory; willing to train the right candidate.
- Tools: Basic understanding of construction tools and safety gear is a plus.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong commitment to safety protocols.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions clearly and communicate effectively with team members.
