Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and project requirements.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and tools, including power drills, saws, and handheld tools, under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, ensuring debris is removed and safety protocols are followed.
- Foundation Support: Help with pouring concrete, framing structures, and performing general groundwork as needed.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret basic blueprints and diagrams to understand project requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and working in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Tools: Basic understanding of hand and power tools is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions clearly and communicate effectively with the team.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
