Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Site Preparation: Assist in digging, leveling, and preparing sites for concrete pouring, framing, or landscaping projects.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Keep the job site clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure safety and compliance.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and tools (drills, saws, levels) under supervision.
- Assisting Trades: Support skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various tasks as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for long hours.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and a history of punctuality are essential.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is preferred but not always required; we provide training for the right candidates.
- Tools: Own or willingness to purchase basic work boots and safety gear.
- Legal Status: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
