Responsibilities
- Perform general site preparation, including digging, leveling, and hauling materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks on job sites.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and storage areas.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and free of hazards at the end of each shift.
- Operate basic construction machinery and tools (training provided for qualified candidates).
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counting.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team.
