Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from the job site.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Assistance: Provide general support to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled laborers as needed.
- Quality Control: Help ensure that work meets the project specifications and quality requirements.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Reliability: Must have a strong work ethic and be punctual for all scheduled shifts.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends and potentially evenings.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Experience: Previous construction or labor experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Location: Must reside in or be willing to commute to Memphis, TN, or surrounding North Carolina areas.
