Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, marking areas, and setting up basic scaffolding.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from the job site.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with basic tasks and measurements.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Inventory: Help track and manage inventory of tools and supplies on-site.
- Basic Measurements: Utilize measuring tapes and levels to assist in basic layout and cutting tasks.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance is essential.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends or early mornings if required.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and work well within a team.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; valid driver's license is a plus.
- Tools: Basic tool handling knowledge is helpful but not required.
