Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, and masons) with daily on-site tasks.
- Perform general site preparation, including clearing debris, excavation, and leveling ground.
- Transport materials and tools to and from the job site efficiently and safely.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery, such as forklifts and jackhammers, following all safety guidelines.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA regulations.
- Measure, cut, and prepare building materials according to blueprints and supervisor instructions.
Qualifications
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy loads (50+ lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and terminology is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
