Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various on-site tasks, including material handling and site preparation.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Perform general cleanup of job sites, ensuring debris is removed and areas are hazard-free.
- Measure, cut, and handle building materials such as lumber, drywall, and concrete.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery under strict supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with framing, drywall hanging, and basic finishing tasks as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods; ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials accurately.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right motivated candidate.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
