Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks and projects.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials and tools efficiently.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and ensuring a clean workspace.
- Perform basic site cleanup and waste removal after shifts.
- Strictly follow all safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and company policies.
- Operate basic construction machinery and equipment under the direct supervision of a supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with the crew to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and rugged environments.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices is a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
