Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, marking areas, and setting up temporary barriers.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
- Support Trades: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) under direct supervision.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is a plus, but willing to train motivated candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid Texas Driver’s License and current proof of insurance.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with foremen and team members.
- Safety Mindset: Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and the ability to wear required PPE.
- Availability: Flexible schedule with availability for weekend or evening shifts.
