Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials to designated work areas.
- Assist with general cleanup and site preparation before and after work shifts.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision.
- Load and unload building materials from delivery trucks and secure them properly.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and site-specific regulations to maintain a secure environment.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and other team members to ensure project milestones are met.
- Help with concrete placement, framing support, and general carpentry assistance as needed.
Qualifications
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and perform heavy manual labor.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety procedures is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new skills and work effectively as part of a cohesive team.
- Previous experience in general construction or landscaping is highly desirable.
