Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Perform manual labor tasks such as loading/unloading construction materials
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following OSHA guidelines
- Support carpenters and skilled trades with basic construction tasks
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and report hazards immediately
- Complete daily equipment checks and basic maintenance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 6 months construction or manual labor experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screen
